About Me
For most of my life I felt deeply dissociated and disconnected from my body. In 2010 I started practicing Chinese Internal Martial Arts and Qigong, which awakened a new awareness of the subtle dynamics within me. Around the same time, I began receiving regular massage and acupuncture, and the combination of these practices profoundly changed not only how I experienced and related to my body, but also how I moved through the world. That shift inspired me to study at East West College of the Healing Arts, where I became fascinated by the body's complexity and drawn to both Western therapeutic techniques like Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and Deep Tissue, and Eastern traditions including Tui Na, Shiatsu, and Thai Massage. I continue to explore and integrate these modalities into my practice, which is guided by Taoist principles and an appreciation for the harmony that emerges when ancient and modern healing systems meet.
A longtime student of yoga, I've been teaching since 2020. For me, yoga is both a refuge and a gateway—an invitation to return to the body as a living landscape of sensation, memory, and intelligence. My classes center somatic awareness and intuitive movement, offering space for students to slow down, listen, and discover. Through this practice, we recognize the interconnection between body and mind, and realign with the deeper rhythm that moves through all life.
